Roles Explained
Five roles run the BISX Crowdfund ecosystem. Each has its own panel and its own guide.
| Role | What they do | Their panel guide |
|---|---|---|
| Investor | Browses opportunities, commits capital, holds equity, tracks portfolio | Investor Guide |
| Issuer | The business raising funds — builds the campaign, manages investors, documents, compliance and payments | Issuer Guide |
| Sponsor | Licensed firm that vets and supervises issuers, reviews campaigns and director declarations | Sponsor Guide |
| Regulator | Securities regulator overseeing the platform — campaign monitoring, investment activity, users, compliance reports, audit logs, ledger | Regulator Guide |
| Admin | BISX platform operators — campaign approval, payments, settlement, invoicing, fees, users, settings | Admin Guide |
How the roles connect
Issuer ──sponsored by──> Sponsor ──lists via──> BISX Admin ──monitored by──> Regulator
│
Investors fund- An Issuer can't list alone — a Sponsor must stand behind the campaign
- Admin approves and operates; the Regulator sees everything, independently
- Investors see only live, approved campaigns
TIP
Unsure which guide you need? If you log in and land on a dashboard, the sidebar tells you your panel — match it to the table above.
